Factories that have been abandoned for decades, buildings that are about to be demolished, places that are in fact non-existent, because they lost their function ages ago. I like to go there with my camera and use the resulting photos to make new paintings in my studio.

These paintings consist of impressions of my visits to various interesting locations. A collage of many different photo´s I made are the inspiration for a painting. The paintings are an impression of the place, consisting of different perspectives, spaces, colours and layers.
