2026The facade of a derelict expostives factory rises from behind the trees, in a wooded area in Poland. The woods grow into the concrete structure, that will become one with the nature surrounding it.
Walking, near Appelbergen
2026Walking is a wonderful pastime. And you might well come across the most beautiful spots—like here, at Appelbergen, near Onnen.

2026Walking is a pleasant pastime, and on the dike at Termunterzijl, you can enjoy the fresh air and look out over the Wadden Sea and its wind turbines.

2026The Bromberg factory building in Bydgoszcz is decaying at a slow pace, returning to nature. Nature is quickly taking over the site; trees are shooting out of the ground. It seems to be a rule that always applies to abandoned places: trees appear where people disappear. Decay and emergence, each has its own pace.
